Really friendly staff, greeted our sons with a toy and remembered their names. We stayed in the suite and it was spacious enough for the four of us. Liked the seperate toilet and shower. Also a big plus was the huge and comfertable bed. The breakfast was sufficient and had healthy options. - The location is a bit gritty, but there is a subway in front of the hotel so you dont have to deal with it too much.

The location was really good, while the hotel was very clean. Very comfortable beds and pillows. The friendliest personnel. Excellent coffee and service. - Television server wasn't working properly and Internet was interrupted repeatedly.

The location is awesome. All of the main attractions are easily within walking distance. The hotel is very clean in general with the rooms and bathrooms being impecably clean. the staff was so friendly and helpful. We stayed there 9 days and felt like it was home away from home. Great value for the price! Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. We will totally recommend Athens Tiare to our friends!!!

Good location, great service. Breakfast included which was very convenient with our kids. Omonia square is being renovated so the view from our window was marred. Otherwise a lovely stay.

the rooom was Spacious and beautifully decorated. Rich breakfast, warm coffee! The central position. Metro stop at the exit from the hotel. - Not dependent on hotel management: The nearby square is overhauled and the view from the window is disappointing.

Staff was very friendly, and helpful. The best feature was the handy phone that can be used to make international calls for free and use unlimited internet for free until the stay. :) - The location outside the Hotel was not favourable, and safe.

We have stayed before two days in this hotel,we were accommodated in executive suite, suite wasn’t very big as we expected, room was clean, the quality of the bad was good and was very comfortable. Bathroom was so small but compact , I think they should improve the quality of towels. Breakfast was nice. Hotel is located in the central area of Athens and is at walking distance from all important sightseeing places . I am really satisfied.

We came at Athens for 5 days and spent our holiday at Athens Tiare Hotel. I could say that is really an amazing hotel: location, service, & staff. The location is in the central district where everything in Athens is reachable: metro, bus, hop on hopp off. The rooms are clean and spacious regarding a four stars hotel. A complementary mobile is given with internet to allow the traveller to be pleased during his holiday. The staff is extremely polite and helpfull: Kostas was very helpfull by giving us information regarding the places that should be visited. Georges also guided us to Omonia station. I would rated the hotel 10 over 10. Thank you Athens Tiare hotel for making us enjoying our holiday.

1. Location is good. It's not the heart of city where you can spot parks and sights, area around is a bit odd but metro station is like less than 1 minute away from the hotel. Literally. It's easy to get to the airport and back. 2. Staff is very welcome and polite. Service is fast and accurate. They could help you with all your problems and requests. It makes you feel safe. 3. Room is quite cozy and ... roomy, spacious. Bed is great, bathroom is perfectly clean. Wardrobe, fridge, safe, bedside table, kettle, tea/coffee. 4. Breakfasts are just perfect. Great variety of food so you easily can have a meal of your choice and appetite. - 1. Sometimes it's a bit noisy in the corridors (when people passing by to their rooms) 2. Pillows could be better (to soft as for me) 3. TV is glitchy when watching Youtube (it could stuck or reload when trying to playback a simple video clip) 4. Elevator is quite small (just for few people)

Walking distance from anywhere, a metro station is adjacent to the hotel. Clean and quiet rooms, rich and varied breakfast, always warm and welcoming staff. - The location in Omonia square is quite central but full of drug dealers trying to sell to everyone who passes by. In the evening it's a bit more frightening.

We spent 2 nights at this wonderful hotel. It is located at an easily walkable distance to most tourist spots and the metro. The front desk staff were very helpful with good suggestions on how to plan your day. Room was great, the showers fantastic! Super clean too. Breakfast was good. A complimentary bottle of dry red wine to top off the service standards. Highly recommended. Great value!

Väldigt trevlig personal både i reception och frukostmatsalen. Bra frukost utifrån priset vi betalade. Rummen var bekväma och välstädad. Bra säng. - Området runt var kanske inte det bästa, men nära till de andra finare.

Smart tv comfy beds good shower good view from 8th floor - Gotta be carefull in the area as it does not look safe.

We booked a package of flight and hotel, and our hotel preference was fully booked. Our travel agent offered us an upgraded room at the Tiare, at a small additional cost, and we agreed. The hotel has been totally renovated from the lobby to the rooms, though one can see it was originally an older facility: two small old fashioned elevators, for example. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The breakfast has long hours (6:30 - 10:30 am) which accommodates energetic sightseers as well as those who like to sleep in. The open buffet is generous and has plenty of choices -- fresh breads, rolls, sesame breadsticks, butter or a vegan substitute, fresh fruit and veggies, hot spinach or mushroom and cheese pastries, pancakes, eggs made to order upon request, fresh juices, wonderful traditional spoon sweets, marmalades, dried fruit and nuts, cold cereals, warm bacon, sausages, baked beens, mushrooms, broccoli and corn, warm mini croissants and other butter pastries, a selection of herbal and black teas, with fresh dried herbs available, yogurts, cheeses, stuffed grape leaves, and I'm sure I'm forgetting other options. There is an entrance to the metro about 5 meters from the hotel entrance. The rooms a tasteful and decorated in cool greys and white with attractive parquet floors. We asked for a double bed and got a huge, very comfortable bed with four comfy pillows. Our room had a view over Omonia Square (currently being redone) and a narrow balcony which was inaccessbile (not sure why). But we could open the balcony door and enjoyed the fresh air. In addition to a huge double bed, two night stands with reading lamps, and a minibar, there was a complimentary bottle of mineral water, two water glasses, two mugs and an electric kettle with supplies of coffee, tea, sugar and milk, a desk, two chairs, a small table and a luggage rack. The space was well designed and felt very roomy. The wall to the outside was a huge window with soundproofing, and a double curtain for late sleepers. The bathroom was roomy, with a very large glassed in shower, plentiful hot water, and a mirror which covers the entire wall behind the sink. Nice large supplies of shower gel and shampoo in the shower and hand soap and hand cream near the sink. Fluffy towels are in good supply and are changed as requested. We arrived just after a major pipe burst in the neighborhood, so the staff were unable to make our room ready on time. They invited us to complimentary coffee in the lobby coffee shop. A unique feature of this hotel is the free cell phone provided in each room. We had difficulty with it at first, and then discovered that our charger wasn't working. The staff were happy to charge the phone at the reception desk for us, and after that it was useful. There is a small exercise room with a few machines, a water cooler and a supply of fresh fruit. When I asked where I could buy stamps, the receptionist was happy to take my cards and mail them for the price of the postage. The room was cleaned daily and was always spotless when we returned to it. One caveat -- the hotel is located right on Omonia Square, which is not the best neighborhood. Sometimes there are questionable characters in the area after dark. I never felt scared, but I did feel watchful. On the plus side, there are two excellent metro lines which stop at Omonia and take you to Piraeus, Syntagma Square, or the Acropolis with no changes. I loved the hotel and would be happy to return!

Very great Hotel

Hotel has all necessary amenities and having a decent breakfast included was a bonus. Comfortable beds and cupboard space in the room. Gym was basic but you can workout in it. Easy to travel to tourist and eating hotspots- we brought a 5 day metro card for €9, which gets you everywhere on all forms of public transport. - Bathroom got very wet due to no shower covering or door Immediate location of Omonia isn't great but don't let this put you off!

Right in the centre of town. Near Omonoia metro station and small eateries. - Not the poshest of locations! A bit noisy at night. Front entrance is underwhelming and bit of a let down.
