Athens Tiare Hotel

The room, although small, was clean and modern. The breakfasts were the BEST WE EXPERIENCED on our three-week trip!

The staff was very kind since we arrived there and also in the restaurant every morning. Our room had amazing views! Very romantic if you are looking for that kind of atmosphere. The coffee maybe it wasn't in the style you can find across the city, at least in the buffet. But don't miss the pouched eggs. - Maybe the building is a bit old but is nice because it has a vintage touch and the shower, being honest, it wasn't working properly, but it was also nice the kind of spa option that have. But everything was very clean and is what it matters.

Beautiful clean hotel in a wonderful location, walking distance to tons of restaurants, shopping, and the acropolis. We showed up at 11 am and our room was all ready for us. Rey helpful staff

Breakfast and position - Pillows, they are too tall for the neck. The sight from the window was not so fine (backside of other buildings). There was a long black hair on the wall of the shower.

Staff was great from the moment we checked in. Had good recommendations for dinner and helped with reservations immediately. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was modern and clean. - A few notes about the location : it's convenient as it's just above Omonia station but this area, unbeknownst to me when I booked, is a little shady at night. We ate dinner early and were back in the room by about 9pm every night because of this.

The hotel was modern and clean. The reception staff and the restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. - The area was probably not the best. The square was closed off for work and there was a lot of graffiti. That said we saw no trouble, but chose to stay in the hotel to eat rather than go out in the evening.

Central location by the metro, clean large rooms with complimentary water and best smelling soaps. Most importantly the most friendliest and helpful staff I have ever encountered. Highly recommended

Great breakfast, excellent value for money

If Athens ever gets renovated and cleaned of its graffiti and refugees then this property will be amazing.

on via Booking.com

well connected, clean, good value for money and very friendly staff - The location is a bit sketchy at night

on via Booking.com

The breakfast and location was honest. The staff were very helpful and friendly and ensured that I had everything that I needed during my stay. It's also nice that the hotel is right by the train station. There was no need to take a taxi from the airport.

Exploring Athens. - Crowded.

on via Booking.com

Everything in walking distance, staff were very committed to resolve all the issues during the stay, very good communication before the stay asking if we need any help arranging transfers, etc. - Had some issues with room cleanliness to start with but issues were resolved once staff was made aware.

Our stay at the Athens Tiare hotel was absolutely incredible. From the minute we walked into the door, we were professionally greeted and welcomed with such kindness. Dieu the receptionist at the time not only gave us great recommendations for food and drinks but also remembered our travel plans and accommodated storing our luggage and arranging transportation for us. When we return, we will definitely be staying the Tiare hotel again. Thank you so much for making us feel so safe and comfortable. - Nothing! Everything was absolutely incredible.

The best!!

We stopped in Athens for one night and could not have been happier with this hotel. Great location! Cute cafes and coffee shops surrounding the residence and a 20 minute walk to the Acropolis. We would recommend!

Breakfast is delicious, buffet style with fresh ingredients. The hotel has a nice modern look to it and conveniently located near the train station. It is also within walking distance to the important parts of Athens such as the Acropolis and Monastiraki Square if you don't want to take train.

Everything.

We had their dinner special late at night in our room and it was really well priced. The food was amazing one of the most memorable meals we enjoyed in Greece. Our room was clean modern with all the perks. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly - Nothing could have been better

We stayed here on our way through from the airport to the port to travel to the Cyclades. It was a well-located base, with extremely comfy beds, nice view of Athens and a good and plentiful breakfast. After check-out we left our bags at reception and walked to the Archaeological Museum for a couple of hours. We returned to collect our bags and walked straight out of the hotel into the metro station to take the 1e25 train to Piraeus. Easy!

We reached a day before our booking since our ferry got cancelled and we had to leave a day before. And the hotel staff was sweet enough to offer us the room available (suite) at a very good rate at midnight. If she hadn't done so, we would been lurking on the roads searching for a room. They also upgraded our next day booked room to a family suite. It was a splendid stay. Also the metro is just outside the hotel entrance. So convenient! - The hotel does not overlook the acropolis but you can see the lycabttus hill right from your windows, which is also a very good view.

- The breakfast was great. - The location - - The room was not good noise isolated.

on via Ctrip

The hotel is 2mins walk away from Omonia metro station. Super convenient to get to major sightseeing locations. As mentioned in other reviews, the hotel’s immediate surroundings aren’t the most pleasant looking but hey, if you’re willing to overlook that, Athens Tiare Hotel is a good choice. Pros - value for money, comfortable good sized rooms, metro station nearby, good breakfast spread Cons - immediate surroundings of the hotel is grimy

The hotel was great as was location and service nice and clean will be back.

Helpful staff, excellent breakfast, comfy bed, great shower. Restaurant is very good. Liked the free wine and fruit following a complaint about the lack of cups and room preparation which was resolved in under 10 minutes. Rooms are large. - The location is good for metro travel but this is not the best area. The breakfast provided in the hotel is very, very good but the packed breakfast we were offered when leaving early was awful. Noise from road but this was not all night and air con covered it.

on via Booking.com

A very comfortable, clean hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much for them. - It was good and close to metro but a bit away from night life

on via Booking.com

I've been twice in this hotel. I like it. - Some minor issues made me feel a little bit disappointed. At breakfast, I asked for an omelette. It came after half an hour. The room has an easy facility. However, they didn't put clean cups every day.

Convenient location to major sites Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was fantastic and the breakfast very good. I’d definitely recommend it - Nothing

Very clean, well maintained, spacious rooms and friendly professional staff.Very decent rate and excellent location!

The breakfast choice was superb. The location at first seemed run down however it is very central and easy walking to everywhere central. We felt safe despite comments about possible crime. We were assured any crime was not of a violent nature so much as possible theft. We were careful as we would be in any city at night. However, it felt more safe than most places we have visited. We were there for 4 nights and loved watching the people late at night As a female in late 60s I was happy walking around this area alone - even after dark. Compared to other world cities this felt safe. Lacks the elegance of Syntagma and it does have a run-down appearance , however, work is being carried out on the square. It has it's own charm and character. We all felt it had atmosphere and some remarkable Zacharoplasteions (cake, pastry, chocolate , coffee restaurant/eateries. Initial concerns disappeared very quickly. Lovely hotel and staff. - We were happy with everything .

Very clean .The breakfast was excellent. - Location . The area was quite busy. However it was conveniently close to a station

Excellent location, very close to the Omania train station! I was concerned the area was unsafe based on other reviews, but we took a stroll in the evening and didn t feel uncomfortable.

on via Tripadvisor.com

We had a very positive and pleasant experience in this well located hotel right on the Omonia Square. Would definitely recommend it also for the good size of the rooms and bathrooms, the general cleanliness, the helpful staff and lovely breakfast!

on via Booking.com

Excellent facilities; fantastic breakfast; very friendly and helpful staff on reception and at breakfast. - Located on Omonia Sq so great access for Metro and central attractions however whilst the square is being renovated the area is a little untidy.

on via Booking.com

Fabulous, stylish, comfortable hotel, in a handy central location. The rooms are spacious and the views over the city ever-changing. Friendly staff made our stay especially pleasant. Restaurant and a great cafe/bar are a plus. - Only downside is the small size of the elevators.

on via Tripadvisor.com

The food in the restaurant was delicious!! Pita bread with olive tapenade and hummus with capers to start. The chefs choice for the day was pea soup and traditional meat and potatoes. The quality and flavoring was exceptional!! Also the service was flawless!!Staying here for 4 nights and now plan to eat several meals here!!

on via Booking.com

Really adapted to the modern traveler, all sorts of chargers in the room, a mobile phone. Great bedding and pillows - I would only add specific gluten free items at breakfast.

on via Booking.com

I have to applaud Athena for giving me an upgrade on arrival which was great. Also Demis was great when I had to get up early in the morning as were the two young guys serving in their restaurant. Also very good and nice driver arranged by them to take me to Piraeus. Also they gave me a breakfast box as to l had to leave before breakfast time. - Omonoia is not the best location in Athens - some strange people around.

on via Booking.com

Great hotel, so I come back to stay here every time I am back in Athens.

on via Booking.com

Convenient placement, very helpful and friendly staff, good advice to see guard changing near the parliament, comfortable bed, clean room, everything you need is here, very fast check in late in the night and +2 free hours to check out. Thank you so much! - Nothing
