We’ve had an amazing stay. Great location, atmosphere, design and food but I think the biggest asset is the staff who were outstanding. Big shoutout to Eleni from reception for great service.

What a hotel! We stayed for two weeks in the resort in the suite on the rocks for our honeymoon. The view from this room was INCREDIBLE, and we couldn’t get over the beautiful view. Firstly, we were greeted by enthusiastic staff who assisted us with our check in and taking our luggage to our room. The room was made up and was really tidy and we were welcomed with some sweets and rosé wine. This was such a lovely and thoughtful touch. Additionally the fridge was stocked with large bottles of water that were topped up daily by the cleaning service that always did a great job in tidying and making the room everyday. The staff were very attentive at all times and took pride in their customer service ensuring they always had time to talk with us. Evi who works in the veranda restaurant looked after us for the duration of our stay and was always on hand for anything we needed. She brought us our iced coffee every morning at breakfast—even sometimes without asking! She is a credit to the hotel. Overall the food is amazing across all eateries and we were fortunate enough to eat at the al la carté facilities twice because of our 14-day stay! We assumed we could only eat at each restaurant once, so this was a welcome surprise. Umi was by far our favourite—definitely not one to be missed. This is the perfect hotel to just enjoy some relaxing time with an easy local beach within walking distance and the town of Agia Pelagia an approx 30 min walk away along the front. Truly would recommend this hotel to everyone and we can’t wait to return in the near future.

All is can say is this hotel resort is absolutely gorgeous! Our room was amazing with a stunning view. The staff are brilliant, food was great and plenty to do. Will definitely go back!

The ability to really relax and focus on wellbeing which was aided by the wonderful hospitality of the staff. The views were stunning and am already planning a return visit! - - Being able to navigate the grounds better. Also the location is a bit far out of the main town, though there is a bus that runs from and to the hotel at certain times of the day. However the serenity and seclusion adds to the overall appeal. -

We recently stayed at Seaside A Lifestyle Resort & Spa and honestly, from beginning to end, we were so impressed. We’ve stayed in many all-inclusive hotels over the years, and this one truly stands apart from the rest. Starting with the hotel itself — the style and aesthetic are absolutely stunning. Everything is clean, chic, modern, elegant and luxurious-looking. The décor, colour scheme and overall finish throughout the resort are incredibly well done and give the whole place a really high-end feel. The hotel is around a 30-minute drive from Heraklion International Airport and is set in quite a secluded location. Personally, this didn’t bother us at all as we never really felt the need to leave the resort, apart from meeting friends in Bali one evening which was about a 30-minute taxi ride away. One thing to note is that the hotel is built high up in the hills, so the drive involves a lot of winding roads which, as a nervous passenger, I didn’t particularly enjoy! Also, because the resort is built into the hillside, there are quite a lot of steps around the property, but again this wasn’t an issue for us as we enjoy walking. We stayed in the Casa Swim Up Sunset View Room and it was honestly the best hotel room we’ve ever stayed in. The setup is incredible — at the front of the room you have direct access to the swim-up pool, and at the back you have a balcony overlooking the Aegean Sea with stunning sunset views. The room itself was modern, spacious and very well laid out. We loved the double sinks and all the amenities provided including the fridge, daily replenished water, coffee machine, safe, wardrobe space and shower (the only thing missing was an iron). Each Casa Swim Up room also has its own private cabana facing the sea, which made the whole experience feel even more luxurious and relaxing. The pool was quite cold in May, but we didn’t mind and still really enjoyed spending time there as it was so relaxing. The main pool we used most was the Pelagos Pool, which again was lovely. There were always sunbeds available throughout the day, both shaded and unshaded, and the atmosphere was really relaxed. The pool bar offered drinks and snacks, and we especially enjoyed the snack bar there — we had crêpes, waffles, sandwiches, rolls, biscuits and cakes which were perfect for daytime snacks. Now onto the food — this was one of the biggest highlights of the entire holiday. The main buffet restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner was exceptional. The quality, variety and presentation of the food were honestly beyond anything we’ve experienced at an all-inclusive resort before. One standout for us was the pizza, especially the BBQ chicken pizza at lunch which was cooked in a wood-fired oven and absolutely incredible. The desserts were also exceptional, which isn’t always the case at all-inclusive hotels! Every meal felt high quality and there was always something for everyone. We also overheard staff accommodating allergies and dietary requirements really well. We visited all three à la carte restaurants (you can visit 3 included in the all inclusive price if you stay for over 7 days), and UMI was by far our favourite — absolutely incredible from start to finish. The starters were amazing and the mango dessert was delicious. Ocean and the other à la carte were both very nice too, although slightly less suited to our personal tastes. However, if you enjoy those cuisines, you would absolutely appreciate the quality and ambience. As others have mentioned on TripAdvisor, alcoholic drinks at the à la carta restaurants come at an additional charge, although soft drinks and water are included. We didn’t mind paying 6-8 euro for a nice glass of wine with dinner. The drinks selection around the resort was very good overall. At the Panorama Bar, Dimitri’s special cocktail was excellent. Our favourites overall were the Piña Colada and the Tropical Whisper. The beer (“Cretan Era”) was decent — not amazing but perfectly fine. The coffees were also really good, especially the iced caramel lattes around the pool. The entertainment was good overall. Sunday was definitely the best night with a DJ and a much livelier atmosphere where people were dancing, and Monday was similar too. Most other evenings were much quieter, so this is definitely more of a relaxed, chilled resort rather than a party hotel. For us, that suited perfectly — we loved having peaceful evenings to relax, play games and talk, with just a couple of livelier nights mixed in. Finally, the service throughout the hotel was absolutely exceptional. Every single member of staff we encountered was attentive, kind, friendly and always smiling. Special mentions go to Billy and Joanna at the Pelagos Pool Bar, Ikin, Dimitri and Dogus at the Panorama Bar, Vaso at the buffet breakfast/lunch, and Arun at the buffet dinner service. All of them were genuinely lovely people who made our stay even more memorable. Thank you to Seaside Resort for such an amazing stay — you will definitely be seeing us again! For two people who would not normally return to the same hotel twice, that says everything.

Stayed here for 6 nights and have to say it did live up to expectations. Its kind of hard to make out from the photos of the place bits It’s a chic, stylish place, perfect for a relaxing break…if you like to hit the gym or do some yoga in the mornings and enjoy some nice wine over lunch then relax by the pool it’s absolutely perfect. The scenery is spectacular, the food is fantastic, gym facilities are great. The staff are plentiful and service is really friendly. There’s a range of à la cartes which are super fine dining, but these are expensive - maybe €75 per head and you pay for drinks so €200 for a meal if you want to use them - your choice though and as I said the food in the main restaurant is super if you don’t. I didn’t see a single coffee machine where you just press the button, staff make coffee the right way at every bar and restaurant, which is a really good sign. There was entertainment in the form of singers, DJs, shows while we were there. If it’s wild late nights you’re looking for this isn’t the place for you but for a feel good relaxing break in a really nice scenic spot I’d definitely recommend.

Veldig fint område. Rent og pent. Gode solsenger. Serviceinnstilt personell. Bra utvalg av drinker (all inclusive).

Beautiful hotel, the staff is so kind and attentive. They really bend over backwards to make you happy y The food is really excellent and the cocktails were very well made, not too sweet, great mixologists. The fitness is really nice with great classes and machines. We also enjoyed tennis and padel tennis. - - On our 5 night stay we were limited to 1 restaurant, which wasn’t clear to us while booking, I think it depends on your booking conditions. The spa costs 40 eur per entry which is fine but we also didn’t realize this when booking. At least when we were there it was mainly young couples which is fine but it wasn’t very easy meet people. -
