We’ve just returned from a truly wonderful 6-night stay at Seaside A Lifestyle Resort in Crete and honestly, we’re already wishing we were back there with a cocktail in hand! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how spotlessly clean the resort was. Every corner of the grounds, pool areas, restaurants, and our room were immaculately maintained. It was clear that each space was cared for with great pride. Check-in was smooth and luxurious in the beautifully designed reception area. The lady on reception was very friendly and welcoming, taking the time to explain everything we needed to know and providing a helpful map of the resort. The facilities were excellent whether relaxing by the pool on comfortable sun loungers, enjoying a drink at one of the bars, or exploring the other amenities, everything felt luxurious yet relaxed. Our room overlooked the sea, and it did not disappoint. Waking up to that stunning view each morning was truly special. A huge special thanks to Denys at the bar. Friendly, funny, and genuinely the best bartenders we’ve ever met. He went above and beyond all week, whether it was mixing up a sunset cocktail or bringing us an evening cappuccino (with style). Nothing was ever too much trouble for him. Also, a huge shout-out to George, the bell boy and hands down the best buggy driver around! Always cheerful, chatty, and full of great local tips, he made getting around the resort seamless and fun. Both Denys and George are absolute credits to the resort. We’re so glad we got to meet them and genuinely hope to stay in touch. The buffet food was fantastic fresh, varied, and beautifully presented every day. There was always something new to try, from traditional Greek dishes to international favourites. All in all, Seaside A Lifestyle Resort delivered on every front: cleanliness, service, views, and hospitality. It’s one of those rare places that manages to be both luxurious and laid-back at the same time. We left relaxed, happy, and slightly heartbroken to be heading home. 5 star in every way, thank you for your hospitality.

Our stay at Seaside Resort in Heraklion, Greece was nothing short of incredible! From start to finish, the hospitality and warmth of the staff made our visit truly special. A huge shoutout to Giorgos, the bell boy, who made our arrival and every ride around the resort so enjoyable! He greeted us with the biggest smile, helped us settle in, and even shared amazing local recommendations — from hidden beaches to the best tavernas nearby. Giorgos’ friendly personality and genuine care for guests really stood out. His customer service was exceptional, and we hope to stay in touch with him — what a star! And we can’t forget Denys at the bar — what an absolute legend! Denys made the best drinks (and somehow memorised our order after the first round!), always served with a smile and a great sense of humour. He often brought our drinks right to our table and made every evening feel like a celebration. We shared so many laughs with him — it was honestly sad to say goodbye to both Denys and Giorgos at the end of our stay. The Seaside Resort team made us feel like part of their family. We left with wonderful memories, lots of laughter, and two new friends we truly hope to see again someday. Thank you for an unforgettable experience — we can’t wait to return!

This is a beautiful peaceful hotel, the views are literally stunning - each morning I would leave our room and be surprised once again by how wonderful the sea and landscape look. Our room was a Sea View Sharing Pool. The terrace and pool are neat and clean, and the view once again incredible. Luckily we had great neighbours but the layout is fine even if you want to keep yourself to yourself. The room itself is modern and clean, though let down by inconsiderate bathroom design - the sinks are in an open area against the headboard, and the toilet/shower are behind hanging frosted glass doors with large gaps and no locks. If you prefer any sense of privacy in the bathroom, this room is not for you. Restaurant food and service is top-notch. All staff are polite and friendly, and we didn't have any real delays getting whatever we wanted. The buffet food is above average and has a good range, with fresh (delicious) pizza served constantly. We tried two a la carte dinners (Umi and Oceano) and both were outstanding. Although you won't get any AI wine with your meal the paid-for local wine was excellent and reasonably priced. Common areas are generally good but showing some signs of tiredness (crumbling concrete at the pool, green algae around spa pool, regular drain smell throughout resort). The main bar open in evening is comfortable and smart, and the staff are good (particularly always-smiling Tymur). The pool bars are friendly and have a good selection of AI drinks and snacks. There is a severe lack of shade at pools, and none at all at the sharing pool terrace. Since I am graced with ginger skin I burn easily and do not enjoy sitting in full sun (even in October). This meant that if I was not lucky enough to get one of the six pool beds with shade, I would be sat in my room for most of the day. Some guests took matters into their own hands and constructed hanging tents with towels and pegs. This looks poor for the hotel image and I'm surprised that management don't take the hint and provide proper shade options. Apart from the shade problem, the main negative I felt was the multiple silly rules which just alienate the guests: The app says "All guests staying for 7 nights can book 3 a la carte restaurants". On arrival we were told that only applies if you don't book via Expedia or Hotels.com. We therefore got only two bookings, leaving us feeling less valued for no particular reason. The day after our arrival was a birthday and anniversary celebration. I emailed in advance to book Umi, and was told it's not possible - I need to do it on arrival. Of course on arrival there were no bookings available by then. (They did eventually allow me to book in advance). There is only instant coffee in the rooms. At breakfast you can order any kind of coffee, but it must be consumed in the restaurant. There is no room service, so the only other option for coffee is the pool bars (which do not open until 10:30). In summary you cannot get a decent coffee in the morning to relax in your room. I mentioned this to staff and they kindly provided a coffee machine in our room. Issue fixed, but frustration of silly rules could have been avoided. Upon arrival we were asked to pay for our stay up front (despite this being a card-secured booking). The night before departure we got a note pushed under our door saying that we had outstanding spa and wine charges and we should pay immediately. I do not understand why this was not dealt with at check-out, like any other hotel I've used, and the payment demands just made our stay experience feel a bit cheap. In summary I would say that we did enjoy our holiday, though a few matters took the shine off our experience. It could easily have been a five star review if it were not for some policies and rules. Having said that I would not return simply because there is not enough shade to enjoy the pools.

We had such a wonderful stay at Seaside A Lifestyle Resort! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly attentive and genuinely caring. When we mentioned that we weren’t completely happy with our first room, they immediately helped us find a new one that was perfect — their response was quick and thoughtful. As someone with coeliac disease, I was really impressed with how well they handled gluten-free meals. Every dish I had was safe, delicious, and beautifully prepared, which made the whole experience so relaxing and enjoyable. The resort itself is lovely, with a calm atmosphere and stunning views. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we truly appreciated the care and attention from the entire team. Highly recommend!

Have just returned from a blissful 14 night stay at the Seaside Wellness Resort. Seriously I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Check in was super easy and efficient which was most welcome after a long day travelling. We arrived around 11 pm and were given a welcome drink, allowed to get some food from the main restaurant and taken by golf buggy to our room where everything was explained to us. We had a Sunset Room (528) with shared pool which was more than adequate. Maybe a touch small for a two week stay but had everything we needed and was cleaned to a high standard every day (including fresh towels). You get two large bottles of water per day and your own fridge. Air conditioning and ceiling fan were really good (and needed) and there is a safe. Balcony was a decent size with amazing views and comfortable reclining seats (other hotels take note) so we used it a lot more than most holidays. Loads of plug sockets plus the usual robes, slippers, hair dryer, shaving mirror, toiletries and so on. We were also left a complimentary bottle of wine and two glasses (nice touch). The sunset rooms live up to their name - the view of the sunset from the shared pool is breathtaking. There are cabanas outside for use by the two blocks of sunset rooms. Our only criticism is that these are not marked as “private” and on some days we found them (and the pool) being used by guests from elsewhere in the hotel. Other shared pools in the hotel complex are marked as private so not sure why this one isn’t. It didn’t spoil the experience but was more of a minor irritation. The hotel complex has a very good sized gym and yoga studio as well as full spa facilities. We had the couples massage (recommended) which means we got to use the full spa which was lovely (and very chill). The hotel has amazing views everywhere you look and the gardens and communal areas are all immaculate. The resort is built into a hillside so there are lots of steps but we were aware of that before booking. We didn’t mind as it burns off the calories of the delicious food (more of that later). There are lifts available for certain areas for the less mobile. We really enjoyed the main pool bar. Although you get the usual 7am sunbed zealots there are always of plenty of sunbeds and cabanas to be had pretty much all day. They are really comfortable as well. Music round the pool is chill and the staff in the pool bar are great, they work tirelessly all day. We thought the drinks were fine, there are “branded” spirits in the cocktails which is an upgrade on some all inclusive hotels we have visited. The beer is decent as well. It is one of the few hotels we have visited that enforce the not reserving sunbeds rule - I wish more hotels were as diligent at doing that. Made breakfast time so much more relaxed not worrying you have to dash back to claim a sunbed! Breakfast is served in the main buffet restaurant and is of a good quality. You can also get snacks (waffles, crepes, sandwiches, wraps, fruit, yogurt and so on) at the main pool bar. We alternated between both depending on how we were feeling. Absolutely no problems with either. Lunch and evening meals are also served in the main restaurant but it’s large enough to accommodate. We felt the food was, on balance, of a higher standard than most all inclusives we have visited in the main buffet. What we really liked was the fact it was proper wine from a bottle, we hate it when all inclusives try to fob you off with wine from a tap at meal times. Wine with a meal should be savoured! We tried the red, rose and white at dinner and they were all very good. The staff at the main restaurant are all absolutely amazing. You feel welcome as soon as you arrive and they can’t do enough for you. I wish I could remember all of their names to thank them individually but I have a terrible memory for names - but they were all fantastic, but one stands out. Harmony by name, harmony by nature! That said ALL of the staff we met were excellent. Super friendly and helpful. The bar staff never stop working and we never had to ask for a drink once they were so attentive. There are three A La Carte restaurants and we’re were entitled to two trips to each across our two week stay. Again - other AIs take note, a lot now have changed to one visit per trip which is a massive rip off so this was a welcome return to the way it should be. Drinks are extra in the A La Cartes but again we knew this in advance. The wine lists were excellent in all three. Umi and Oceano are the stand outs - unbelievable food and service. The Cretan restaurant is less good but still worth a visit. In terms of location there is a beach 5 mins away - it’s small and pebbly (so take beach shoes) but very nice. There is an amazing taverna on the beach that is highly recommended as well as a bar and a couple of shops. Agia Pelagia is 10 minutes away in a taxi (10 euros) and there are loads of tavernas, bars and restaurants there. Reception will sort you a taxi and there is a taxi rank so getting back is easy as well. The entertainment at night is pretty typical for this type of hotel - mostly chill (and a bit cheesy) but the Latin and the DJ nights were more upbeat. We didn’t manage to keep our room on (our transfer wasn’t until 8pm on the day of departure). The changing facilities in the “luggage room” need expanding and improving but we used the (excellent) facilities in the main bar so it was fine. We really enjoyed our stay at Seaside - good food, nice clientele, amazing staff and customer service and a good location that didn’t feel remote and cut off. We would definitely return because of the staff - they 100% make this place. Customer service is clearly their top priority and that certainly cannot be said for some All Inclusive hotels we have visited! Keep up the good work and we will hopefully see you all again soon.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Seaside A Lifestyle Resort! All the staff are incredibly polite, always smiling, and genuinely ready to help — the service here is truly on another level. The hotel itself is stylish and modern, with breathtaking views from every corner. Our room was spotless, cleaned daily with fresh towels provided each time. Both à la carte restaurants were exceptional — we were able to book three dinners during our stay, and each one was an experience! Drinks are not included, but we didn’t see that as a problem — a bottle of wine costs around €34, which is very reasonable. Staff never give any sense of expecting a tip, but they absolutely deserve one. Tips can easily be added to the receipt at the end of the meal, either as a percentage or a set amount. The main buffet was just as impressive, offering a huge variety of fresh, high-quality dishes and desserts that were simply wild (in the best possible way!). Both pools have stunning views, a great choice of cocktails and snacks, and plenty of comfortable sun loungers available at any time of day. The location is also very convenient — there’s a bus stop right by the hotel with direct service to Heraklion Old Town (about 40 minutes, €4 per person each way, and card payments are accepted). And Agia Pelagia is 25min walk. Our pick-up was quite late, and when we asked for a late check-out, the staff kindly allowed us to stay until 2 pm instead of 11 am — such a thoughtful gesture. Even after check-out, the all-inclusive service continues until departure, and the hotel provides showers and a luggage room, which made everything so easy and comfortable. All additional charges, including the €15 per room per night tourist tax, are added to your room bill and settled at check-out — very convenient. Overall, this resort has an incredibly happy and welcoming atmosphere. We enjoyed every moment and will definitely be coming back!

A legjobb szálloda ahol valaha voltunk. A nászutunkat töltöttük itt, egy Suites on rocks típusú szobában, ami csodálatos volt. Elképesztő látvány mindenhonnan, nagyon magas minőséget nyújtott. Isteni ételek. Nagyon köszönjük, és biztosan visszatérünk!❤️ -

Positives Stunning views, beautiful areas absolutely stunning resort. The food is so good the wine is excellent but cocktails are awful, so sweet and not authentic, only the pina colada is good. The staff are wonderful except for reception. We booked a prime room with jet 2 and were sent a picture of our room, we upgraded and payed more for this room. On arrival our room was completely different. An hour after arriving I went to reception to tell them I didnt like the room as it was not what I booked. The receptionist kept repeating this is what you booked its a prime room I decided to leave as she was no help on leaving she grabbed my arm and said she would get a manager. The manager was rude she said if was not her problem Jet 2 had promised me that room, .as the room didnt exist. She was really rude so I said I was leaving as she obviously wasn't going to help. On standing up and walking out she said I was going to give you a better room but you have decided to leave. They did make me cry. They showed me to the original room I booked, even though she said it didnt exist. We took the room and it was beautiful. 5 star for food ,cocktails awful. Restaurant staff amazing Reception staff no customer service, manager and reception staff on duty on 19th September absolutely awful, I do not expect to be in tears on my first day. Yes I do accept Jet 2 may of sold an non existence room but to be treated by reception staff so badly will never leave me. Such a shame to be let down by front of house and management. Also the upper pool had concrete falling off on the steps into the pool, the concrete was lifted off and uncomfortable to walk as well as looking awful. For me cocktails awful Pool maintenance awful Toilets in upper pool mixed and urine on the floors and seats. Reception and management rude I'm so sorry as everything else was so perfect

The hotel is incredible as well as the staff. From check in to check out our stay was fantastic. Nothing is too much for the staff and they always have a smile on their face which is great to see. Special thanks to Denys from the bar, who always took care of us and made sure we are well looked after. Keep up the great work Denys!!!

Lifestyle hotel is absolutely what the hotel is, from the moment you enter the hotel life slows down. We arrived at 3.30am, our checkin was smooth, we were taken to our room on a golf buggy, the staff member pointed out everything to us on the way, the buffet had been kept open incase we wanted something to eat. We stayed in 214, the room was immaculate, the room didn’t quite have the sea view we expected but, we were only in the room to sleep and change. The pool view was incredible. The food, wow just wow. Umi was our favourite by far, the cocktails on the menu paired perfectly with the food. The staff make the hotel, they are so calm and elegant even during busy times you don’t feel their stress or worries. Demetris at the Thalassa bar was wonderful, he kept the bar running smoothly was always smiling asking how your day was. Kostantina in the main restaurant was so lovely and attentive. And Efeftheria she made our trip, after one day she knew our drinks order for breakfast and lunch and bought them to us within minutes of arriving, we bonded on our first day over nail art. Any time we walked past and she saw us she’d wave. She really is an incredible member of the team. Overall our holiday was incredible and we came home feeling incredibly relaxed.

15 euro a night tourist tax , up 50% from last year . Beer last year was freely available to pour yourself , but you need waitress service now so you get very little for your money and you have to wait a while . Food is great and the sweets are high class . Staff are exceptional , the best anywhere . Sadly our weather was poor last year and this but that’s not a resort issue . Highly recommended . There are shops about a 30 min walk over the beach and round the hotel opposite . Quite remote but if you get the weather this is a great place to relax

We were there for our Honeymoon and booked the Suites on Rock. When we arrived the reception was very welcoming and asked us if we would like to have lunch first. After lunch the check in went smoothly and to our surprise they upgraded us to Acro Villa with a private Pool. On our request we even got to see the suites on Rock incase we want to change. We stayed the 4 nights in Acro and they offered us the facilities of both Acro and Seaside which was amazing. The staff at the buffet, pool and reception are great and very thoughtful. The food selection is quite good. On the 4th night we had a free dinner at Umi which was really tasty. The staff in general are very welcoming. The view and ambiance in the entire vicinity is calming and relaxing. We asked for a late check-out which was not possible so they offered us a check out at 12 from acro and we could still use the facilities until 16:30. To our surprise we received a call after check out from seaside, and they offered us another room until 16:30!! So we could still relax and rest until our taxi arrived. All in all was an amazing experience and we will visit again!!

Perfect Summer Escape – Suite 111 This was our third visit to the hotel, having previously stayed in both the Rock Suite and Swim-Up rooms. However, the Summer Suite 111 is simply on another level. The space, private pool, facilities, and views felt like pure indulgence. For sun lovers, this suite is unbeatable, with sunshine from 08:00 until 16:30 daily — something you don’t get in the Rock Suites along the front. Dining Dining here is always a highlight. Umi is outstanding — the sea bass is genuinely one of the best dishes I’ve ever eaten, made even more memorable by the breathtaking setting as the sun set over the sea. The main restaurant consistently offered fresh, high-quality food, and we never struggled to find variety. We also enjoyed Oregano and Minoan, both excellent in their own right. Staff The staff are the reason we return year after year. The Pelagos pool bar team are fantastic and remembered us from previous visits. Every single cleaner greeted us with a smile and a “good morning,” and the lady who looked after our suite was exceptional — leaving us flowers and keeping everything immaculate throughout our stay. Gym - excellent facilities and classes beautiful scenery. Overall A truly unforgettable experience in every way. Already looking forward to returning next year

Aesthetically Amazing and Great Service This hotel is absolutely gorgeous with breathtaking views and an atmosphere that makes it feel truly special. The food was outstanding — both the à la carte and buffet options were of a very high standard, and the desserts in particular were the best we’ve experienced at any hotel, easily matching what you’d find in top restaurants. We also loved the convenience of being able to contact reception via WhatsApp and using the app to book restaurants, which worked brilliantly. The staff made our stay unforgettable. Special thanks to Mara, Maria, Dimitrus, Denys, Athina, Filapos, and Paloma for their warmth and attention to detail. Paloma in particular was so friendly and thoughtful — on her last day she even came to find us to say goodbye with a hug, which was such a lovely personal touch and a true credit to the hotel. Elina also deserves a big shoutout for her amazing cocktails, and the Thalassa bar team (Dimitrus and Maria) were an absolute dream team. Denys was a true gentleman, remembering our order every evening without us needing to ask — such an outstanding touch. There were a couple of small negatives. On arrival, our welcome drink was unfortunately missed, and when we queried this, the response at reception could have been handled more kindly. Housekeeping, while friendly, was inconsistent. On two occasions the cleaner entered without announcing herself and, as she spoke limited English, it was difficult to ask her to return later. On our final day, before we had officially checked out, she was very determined to clean the room and we felt pressured to leave earlier than intended. We did raise this with reception and Annia noted our feedback and apologised, but her initial manner came across as slightly dismissive. Additionally, our private pool was only cleaned once during a 10-day stay, and the glass overlooking the cliffs wasn’t cleaned at all. Coffee pods and toiletries were also not consistently replenished. While the cliffside setting is beautiful, it does mean that some rooms aren’t completely private due to the layout. This wasn’t a major issue for us, but it would be helpful if this was made clearer when booking. Overall, despite these minor points, the positives far outweighed any negatives. We had a wonderful time, felt genuinely looked after by the amazing team, and would 100% come back again

The hotel is amazing, so many exceptional views, interesting program every night, everything is so beautiful, our room had the best view ever , cozy, quite and windy on the terrace - just perfect. Also we had our wedding anniversary here and they prepared small surprises for us :) Thanks to the guest Manager she was amazing :) - The only 2 things I did nit like : 1- there was noise when someone uses water from other rooms and the mattress made a hole when we lay down but the amazing staff and guest manager actually changed our mattress with a new one - unpacked it in front of us so the hospitality was exceptional , the interesting thing is that it made a little hole again when we lay down so I think they have ti just check the bed itself or maybe get hard mattresses . But after they change it we slept very well after all.

The resort is BEAUTIFUL, with amazing views of the sea and the town. The room was super comfortable, meals were amazing, staff were so friendly and attentive, can’t say enough great things about this resort! They upgraded our room for a special occasion which was such a lovely gesture. Best place we have stayed at! - Nothing - it’s great!!!
