We went the Friday of Summer Half term in June 2025. Family of four with a 4yo child and an 8month old baby. It was the week after UK half term, but the hotel was still fully booked. This is a very well run hotel. Everyone there is friendly and nice and works hard. I felt each staff member treated me as they would as if I was a guest in their own home. The hotel excelled at the things that mattered to me: FOOD: good fresh food. Fresh fruit, salad, roast vegetables and tasty Greek traditional food. Amazing baklava. Greek yoghurt, olives all very tasty. CLEANLINESS: very clean hotel, toilets cleaned regularly and communal areas clean. I never saw mess. If I had a request, such as fresh towels, it was met immediately. CHILD-FRIENDLY: Greek culture is great with children and I wasn’t disappointed here. Baby and child both welcomed and had a great time. They have lots of high chairs for babies and junior dining chairs. BEACH: the beach is beautiful and the water is crystal clear. You can see the sun rise over the sea in the East and set behind the mountains in the west. TRAIN: the main reason I chose this hotel was the free train rides in the evening for the children. We took the train to Lake Kournas, where the water is clear and you can see fishes and turtles. We also took the train to the village Georgioupolis where there is a church out to sea and a nice playground in Corissia Park which had live music and dancing. With all the above, I was very happy with our first family holiday and delighted with our choice. I didn’t plan to use Kids Club, but my child wanted to go. It’s run by the entertainment team rather than qualified childcare professionals, and there is no security on the door - anyone can walk in and out. They take kids from 1yo but the ratio is 2 entertainment team members. One time we went to collect our 4yo and there were no kids club hosts there. Another time, I was in the Kids Tasty Corner with my own child and could see the kids club kids with one Entertainment Team member, who wasn’t paying any at

Es war mal wieder ein absolut schöner Urlaub hier im Pilot Beach. Wir sind dieses Jahr schon zum zweiten Mal hier, mehr braucht man glaube nicht zu sagen. Die Lage ist von Heraklion etwas ungünstig, zumindest mit dem Bus, (2h Anfahrt) also entweder Eigenanreise oder Chania wer die Möglichkeit hat. Das Hotel selbst gibt es wohl schon seit 1991, dafür ist es gut instand gehalten, ich hätte es auf 10 Jahre geschätzt. Kleinigkeiten gäbe hier und d

Schönes Hotel direkt an einem super Strand gelegen. Zimmer waren sauber. Das Essen war sehr gut und für jeden etwas dabei. Für Ausflüge sollte man definitiv einen Mietwagen buchen, da das Hotel sehr abgelegen ist. Wir haben direkt im Hotel einen Mietwagen gebucht, faire Preise und völlig unkompliziert. Absolutely fantastic hotel. The staff are all helpful & friendly, the food was great & rooms kept spotlessly clean. There are 3 pools & 3 restaurants & a private section of beach so plenty of choice for food & activities. The only recommendation for improvement would be if they could offer a washing machine / laundry facilities. Otherwise 10 out of 10 & will definitely recommend to friends & family.

Absolut top! Tolle Anlage, sauber&gepflegt! Wir haben einen Beach Front Bungalow und finden die Lage perfekt, direkt am Meer, am Pool-> aktuell immer Liegen zur Verfügung und am besten Restaurant. Excellent range. - More fish

Insgesamt hatten wir einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Pilot Beach Resort. Die Auswahl am Essen war super, Obst war meistens frisch und qualitativ gut. Allerdings würden wir das Hotel insgesamt als 4-Sterne-Hotel einstufen. Die Zimmer wurden leider teilweise nicht konsequent gereinigt, was man besonders unter den Betten und im Bad gesehen hat. Wir hatten einen Bungalow mit Meerblick, der Ausblick war fantastisch. Strand und Pool schön. Personal war meistens sehr freundlich. Preis/Leistung würden wir als gerechtfertigt bewerten.

Wunderschöne, allerdings riesengroße Anlage! Sehr weitläufig. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön, allerdings für zwei Erwachsene und ein Kind (Standardzimmer) relativ klein. Wir hatten ein Zimmer auf der Strandseite, das gefiel uns sehr gut. Beim Check-in wurde uns erst ein Zimmer auf der anderen Seite der Anlage angeboten, wir konnten aber problemlos tauschen. Der Service war hervorragend und alle Mitarbeiter super zuvorkommend und freundlich! Das Essen war sehr abwechslungsreich und es gibt eine große Auswahl an Speisen. Auch Vegetarier kommen auf ihre Kosten! Das Abendessen und das Frühstück sind allerdings sehr wuselig und durch die große Anzahl der Gäste sehr unruhig. Der Strand an dem das Hotel liegt ist sehr schön und der Einstieg flach. Es sind viele Familien mit Kindern im Hotel und insbesondere für die Kinder wird sehr viel geboten. Wir waren sehr zufrieden, allerdings muss man die Größe der Anlage und die Menge an Gästen mögen! Wer eher kleinere Anlagen und familiäre Atmosphäre bevorzugt, ist falsch. Das Pilot Beach Resort ist rundum eine sehr gute Wahl: super gelegen am breiten Sandstrand in hervorragender Lage, um sich mit der ganzen Familie wohlzufühlen! Die Gesamtanlage bietet sehr viel Komfort, Abwechslung mit tollem Service. Die Buffetauswahl bietet eine Vielfalt in hoher Qualität. Das Hotelpersonal ist äußerst gastfreundlich von der Rezeption, über die Mitarbeiter in den Restaurants, an den Bars und im Zimmerservice. Hervorheben möchten wir insbesondere das lockere und freundliche Entertainment-Team, das unaufdringlich ein abwechslungsreiches Programm für Groß und Klein angeboten hat. Auffällig war die Sauberkeit in allen Bereichen und die hochwertige Ausstattung und alles zu einem angemessenen Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Das Pilot Beach Resort ist sehr empfehlenswert! Wir werden es sicherlich bald wieder buchen!

Les chambres la tranquillité l emplacement - - C est un grand complexe ou il y a un peu beaucoup de monde au restaurant bien organisé mais un peu usine malgré tout la nourriture est très bonne -

Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Saubere Zimmer, ausgezeichnetes und abwegslungsreiches Essen. Eine schöne Aussicht auf das Meer und die Berge haben unseren Hotel Aufenthalt abgerundet. Das Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, unserer Tochter (5Jahre) hat die mini Disco super gefallen. (diese ist etwas abseits gelegen und ist somit von den Zimmern aus nicht zu hören.

The two of us stayed at this hotel in mid-May and had a wonderful time. We would have liked to extend our stay. The complex is spread out, but if you know the way around, you can quickly reach important places like the reception or one of the three restaurants. Our superior room with a garden view was very spacious with an extra couch. We could really stretch out. The bathroom was also very large. However, we would have preferred a regular shower instead of a shower tray. The bed consisted of two single mattresses, which we liked. The mattress was really extremely soft, and we slept like a baby. You can hear things from the neighbors, especially when something is happening outside. The door only seals out noise very little, but that didn t bother us. You can tell here and there that the complex is no longer up to date, but some technical features have apparently been modernized, such as the Wi-Fi or the air conditioning. Both worked very well. The cleanliness was excellent. The lady responsible for cleaning our room block was very friendly and greeted us every morning with a friendly Kalimera. The three restaurants offer a wide selection of meals. We generally found the food very tasty—it s all a matter of taste. We would have expected a bit more premium in the meat, which sometimes seemed tough or inferior. The service was generally prompt and always very courteous. Our highlight was the beach area. The bar there with its many seating areas, the small pool (which is less busy than the main pool above), and the view of the sea was simply unforgettable. We loved sitting there. The hotel s private beach was also simply fantastic. Due to it being the off-season, there were always plenty of loungers available. The beach itself is very well-maintained and supervised, who even whistled people back when the waves were too rough. We found that very good and thoughtful! Regarding noise: With two people there in the off-season, children didn t bother us. There were a few families with small child

Die Lage direkt am schönen Sandstrand ist super. Nach Georgioupolis sind es über den Strand ca. 20 Minuten zu Fuß, es lässt sich gut laufen. Wer will kann auch die alte Straße nutzen. Die Zimmer sind gut eingerichtet, die Betten waren bequem, mit guten Kopfkissen. Die Strandliegen sind ebenfalss bequem. Für Kinder gibt es viele Angebote. - - Leider gibt es in den Restaurants keinen ruhigen Bereich, für Reisende ohne Kinder. Der Lärm im Hauptrestaurant war schon beachtlich. In den kleineeren Restaurants war es erträglicher. -
