Hotel is in central Heronissis set back from the main road. Adults only hotel with a mixture of ages giving a great atmosphere. Our room was spacious, well equipped and kettle provided on request. Cleaned daily and beach towels available at reception Breakfast plentiful - buffet style - catering for all tastes and requirements Bar snacks available all day, good portions (in fact easily shared) and all staff very friendly and helpful Particular mention to Erika on reception whose recommendations for places to eat were fantastic and she booked tables for us at Harakas in old Herinossos with taxi twice as it was so good! Nothing too much trouble for her - really appreciated as first time for us in Crete. Will definitely try to visit again and hopefully use Cook’s Club

All we can say is WOW! The hotel was out of this world and exceeded all of our expectations in every way. The food was incredible, we actually ate here a few nights as it was so nice. The drinks were banging. The service was superb and everyone was super lovely and friendly! The hotel itself is so clean, modern and in great distance to the main area of Hersonissos. We honestly could not fault it at all and would come back in a heart beat. We also loved all the evening entertainment which surprised us with how good it was! Great hotel, great staff, great location. Close to shops and the beach. Sea water crystal clear. Locals so nice and friendly. Food and drink prices are soo cheap. You can eat 3 meals a day for €60

have just returned home after a lovely 10 day stay (aside from miserable weather last 3 days????) I agree with the below review regarding the area, definitely not the prettiest , but handy and only 5 mins in taxi to the old village and koutalafari which were lovely. The hotel itself is great, the staff work so very hard and constantly maintain the cleanliness and aesthetic look of keeping everywhere top standard- i’ve never noticed that at anywhere i’ve stayed before ! so friendly and accommodating too Loved the music and vibe, was a little nervous after reading reviews earlier on in year , we are in our mid forties so not too over the hill ???????? but was fab plenty of choice at breakfast we ate a few times at bar and food was so nice , and reasonable too. rooms were great, again cleaners do a great job , comfy beds , would be handy to have a full length mirror and some hooks on back of doors etc would definitely return to a cooks club chain in future , thankyou for a lovely stay ☺️

When we was dropped off on a Main Street and informed to walk a few hundred meters , we could not see the hotel . It was on the Main Street, I nearly cried , it felt like Blackpool with the sun . However, once you walk through what’s like a shipping container entrance the hotel is there . Fast checkin, not showed to room or carried bags . Corridors very narrow and plain , but very clean. Room layout sink in bedroom with shower seperate and toilet on opposite side of room . Never not had a bathroom before , but we got used to it . our room was over looking the back , very narrow balcony just enough room to sit forward but can’t stretch legs. Fridge and air con in the room , free bottle of water on arrival . Room cleaned daily with fresh towels . Breakfast we loved , plenty variety although I had the same each day I was happy with the fruits , nuts section . My husband tried the omelettes and had no issues . Staff friendly and clean pots away off tables quick . Coffee nice . Sunbeds deep and comfy , however no umbrella s near the pool but beds on the garden area , with little tables . We had lunch most days and sampled many dishes competitive pricing to the local places , and good quality food and presentation , we sat on our sun loungers to eat , drinks brought to you . The staff work hard , and pleasant . The music starts off a bit softer in the morning probably from about 11 am . We loved the music in the afternoon and DJ on his mixing decks ., some entertainment mainly focused around music or the big screen , we was happy with that . We found the area a bit Blackpool on Main Street and the beach is a short walk down any side street about two mins , more bars and restaurants across from the sea . The beach we thought was awful and didn’t step foot on it , was slim 2 sunbeds deep , very choppy sea . Not for us . The villages a 15 min walk behind the hotel we found much nicer and I even did some dancing and plate throwing . I wouldn’t go back to this area of Crete , we did a couple of trips and nice to see other areas of Crete . we spoke to other tourists who had been going for 10 plus years .plus I would go and make your own decision . As for cooks club , if you like clean , modern good food and music then go , it wasn’t roudy , nice friendly guests . I’m just looking at the one in Rhodes for May we will be back ????

I had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances and was so impressed by Stella - she was so so helpful, caring, understanding and helped me throughout my booking. Although I am very sad I couldn’t come here this time, I will be booking my next visit due to Stella’s helpfulness - she is a real asset to the hotel - thank you so much and look forwarding to seeing you next summer!

We’ve just returned from a 5 night stay and overall had a really lovely time. Location: The hotel is located in the centre of Hersonissos, just cross over the road and you’re on the sea front, which made it really easy to get around. There’s loads of restaurants on the front and shops/bars on the street. Perfect little mini market right next to the hotel. The hotel: The hotel itself was really nice and modern. Our room was one of the Junior Suites. We overlooked a building site which was annoying but one of those things. We had a separate bedroom/living room / bathroom and it was really spacious. Beds really comfy and aircon was great. Only suggestions from me - we didn’t have a full length mirror what was really frustrating as couldn’t check the whole outfit etc. there was plenty of places it could go also. There is no hooks on the back of the bathroom door which would also be a benefit. One thing I would add, I felt like the room didn’t get properly cleaned any day we were there. There was an oily mark on the bedside table from where my body oil had been placed down, and I’d tried to wipe but you could still see the oil, and it was not cleaned once the whole stay. Similarly, I had smashed the top of a glass bottle accidentally and we cleared up as much of the glass ourselves as possible, obviously assuming the cleaners would sweep/mop the floor but that didn’t seem to happen there was still glass on the floor. Also, having a bedroom/living room separate, means that in the bedroom you don’t have a balcony just a window, which I think I’d have preferred the other way round. One of the light fixtures next to the bed was also hanging off the wall which we were cautious of. Sunbeds around the pool are so comfy. Best location is the sunbeds facing opposite the bar. We paid for late checkout €55 until 16:30 which was great. Food & drinks: Breakfast Buffet was fine. It wasn’t as large as other hotels I’ve been to. Sometimes the food was cold which was frustrating. I also didn’t like the mushrooms and tomatoes being in the same pot rather than separate but that’s just me being picky. The omelette station was lovely, but some cheese as an option was make it 10/10. The drinks at the pool bar were lovely especially the strawberry daiquiri. Also the menu for lunch the food was amazing. Best club sandwich I’ve ever had. Didn’t stay for dinner as there is so many options nearby. Staff & service: The staff were all helpful. Bringing drinks and food to the sunloungers felt luxury. When checking in you are provided with an iPad to fill out your details. I feel like this could be provided before you check in maybe 2 days before to speed the process up - other hotels do this. I used the scan passport feature to input the details, and when complete returned it to the lady at the desk. She didn’t believe I had completed it and nearly refused to take it back. I had to tell her 3/4 times I had completed all the information before she believed me. Which was strange because I’d completed everything using the feature on the iPad. But nevertheless the check in process was smooth. You get towel cards you can exchange for fresh towels everyday. Facilities: Pool was cold but we did come in September. Like I said the sunbeds were so comfy. You can’t reserve sunbeds as they will remove towels but people do secure the best ones from 7:30-8am and just sit on them reading etc until it’s acceptable to leave the sunbeds to get breakfast. If you want restaurant recommendations: El Puerto - Mexican King Scorpio - best steak I’ve had, we went on a Saturday for Mamma Mia night and was fantastic. Med Cafe - gorgeous views and unbelievable lamb gyros. Dellys - great for a lunch, wrapped gyros 2 cokes for €20 Areya - we got a taxi to areya in Analipsi (10mins) they have a traditional Greek night on a Monday (plate smashing etc) which was fantastic definitely recommend.

Just returned from a weeks stay with 12 other friends. The hotel is very welcoming, the staff can’t do enough for you, the food is excellent and very well priced, the drinks prices are good for the type of vibe you get. The entertainment from the Dj is great from 1pm until around 5:30, good music with different types of genres mainly deep house, Afro house and 80s, 90s. The local area is ok, main streets are just outside with various choices of bars and restaurants. There are two improvements that could be made. All the rooms need some sort of privacy curtain added as you need to open the curtains to let light in but then you are fully exposed to other balconies. I would also add a water fill Up station as I’ve experienced in other hotels. I would definitely return to another cooks club in another country as they are a very good brand. Big shout to the manager for allowing us to feature a special photo on the wall of one of our fiends !! Thanks cooks club for helping us all share more great memories together. We are all in our 50s and the hotel provided us with a great experience. ????

Enjoyed a week at this hotel as part of a group of 13 over 50’s! We have had a brilliant time . The hotel itself is centrally located and near a variety of shops bars and places to eat , in addition to being a short walk to the beach front. Breakfast was a really good selection including an omelette station and was well organised . Only suggestion would be to offer poached eggs as well as the fried, scrambled and omelettes provided . Just personal preference ! Food in the hotel is amazing overall and provides a good range of dishes for lunch and even dinner . It’s not expensive for a hotel and we often ate here . Hotel rooms were cleaned daily , modern and had comfortable beds . Only a suggestion but an additional net curtain would be helpful or frosted windows as when the curtain is back it would be easy to see into others rooms so we had to keep the curtains closed all the time . Aside from that they were spot on. The spa offers treatments in line with usual prices . A full body massage for an hour is 100 euro and Giannis who did mine was fantastic . Every member of staff we encountered was pleasant and would do anything to help you , including Stavros the hotel manger who suggested an amazing place to eat in a local village where we experienced a real taste of Cretan food . Thankyou to you and your team for looking after us all . We really appreciate it and would love to visit again.

Just spent a week at this hotel. Great location right in the centre of the main strip. If you are sunbather you need to be up early to get a good bed in a sunny position which are side by side all around the pool. The hotel bar is next to the pool and service is provided directly to your sun beds. The bar plays constant music and then a DJ takes over and from 1-6 pumps out music all afternoon. The hotel opens itself to abuse in my opinion, anyone can walk in off the street and use the sun beds and eat breakfast. There is no checks to identify anyone as a hotel resident. The staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel operates a free change of pool towel daily. Our room was more than adequate and although directly facing the main strip was surprisingly quiet with the doors and windows closed. Air conditioning was great also. If you are a football fan the hotel has a giant projector that screens games on the side of the building opposite the hotel bar. All in all a very good hotel but could be even better if they supplied HP sauce at breakfast.

Just back home after spending a week here, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, initially we were a little taken aback by its location, you enter of a very busy street full of shops, bars and restaurants but to be honest, once you’re inside and at the pool area you’d never know, it’s a beautiful set up, very clean and tidy at all times, the staff were very helpful and friendly and even very caring after I had a fall after slipping on a wet floor and dislocating my wrist, they kept asking how I was and encouraged me to visit the doctor along the road, I inadvertently clicked it back into place myself and found it was manageable so didn’t visit the doctor, the pain wasn’t too bad once relocated but their concern for my wellbeing was genuine and refreshing. My wife and I are nearing 60 and weren’t the oldest there but we did feel it was perhaps a younger person’s hotel, the music was very modern and very loud at the bar/pool area. The breakfast was great, lots of choice and although we never ate a meal there the menu seemed very good. The only small negative for us was the bed/beds, they were wooden framed and very loose and squeaky whenever you moved/turned over. All in all it was a lovely hotel that I’d have no problem in recommending,,,, to 18 to 40 year olds haha but maybe it’s just me. The location was great, lots of supermarkets, bars, restaurants and tat shops around and only a short walk to the busy beachfront.

My husband and I (in our 30s) returned last week from this hotel . We are already trying to rebook . From the moment we arrived to a warm welcome from Billie on reception we went to the bar and “jukebox “ night was on a real vibe and great atmosphere. Erica was fantastic chatting to us and answering any questions we had as new arrivals . The whole place is a vibe with comfy subbed and nice little spots to sit around the place . George at the bar area was lovely to chat to and service was second to none ! . Our room was spotless everyday and came back to a lovely towel art surprise by Angelica . There’s always something going on at this hotel and the love do is excellent. We can’t wait to get back ! .. Dani & Craig

Voor de tweede maal geboekt. Zo tevreden van onze eerste boeking! Tweede keer was zoals de eerste keer, perfect! Vriendelijk personeel, heel proper hotel, top kuisteam, heel lekker eten! Altijd met een glimlach, ze proberen altijd te antwoorden op je vragen en zijn oplossingsgericht. Het hotel is perfect gelegen om in de buurt uit te gaan, volop winkels,pubs, restaurants. Steek je de straat over ben je op enkele minuten aan zee. Zo jammer dat de vakantie door is. Zeker tot de volgende keer! Cook’s club we love you!

Really enjoyable experience, food was superb with gluten free options available and plenty of Greek food available eg Olives and Gyros (wish I’d brought cling film to bring home :) and the entertainment was spot on - Karaoke night was good . Perhaps time of year but had a few pesky wasps when drinking outside! Wife loved sitting on balcony with a brew and laughed when I nearly broke my neck with a round of drinks (slipped near pool!), I will never hear the end of it. Bathrooms are really nice. Couldn’t fault it

Great location in the center with everything you need just a short walk away- pharmacy, spar, cafes , ice cream shops clothing shops and lovely beach front restaurants, can’t tell you are on main road very set back, the hotel gave a very vibey atmosphere during the day time and at the evening , the dj during the day was amazing played great songs to sing along Too in the pool, the events they held were also a highlight of our trip including white party and movie night , The rooms were lovely the one we had selected was a large double which was excellent, very big bed space as well as a nice big shower and sofa bed the value for money we thought as an 18 year old couple was very reasonable to say food was at such a high standard and the room we got was perfect and the pool area and bar is also fabulous for what we paid the entire place is so clean including the pool and our room was cleaned everyday fresh towels and cleaners did a fab job of the rooms , the noise levels was just right never to loud even when the dj was on, the service was great from the receptionists to the bar staff everything was amazing

Location was perfect, everything you could need is nearby less than 5 minutes away. The atmosphere is viby always music, different events every day such as movie night, dancers, djs. Rooms are very spacious and fresh towels everyday and cleaned and all very comfortable. Great value for your money. Bar and restaurant very reasonable for the quality of food and drinks. Despite being by a main road it is very set back so no traffic noise. Music level is good too. Service is excellent, pool towels/ beach towels provided and can exchange for clean ones whenever you please. Would definitely recommend

We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed our holiday! The hotel was clean, well maintained, and the food was delicious with generous portions. The cocktails were also great. The hotel is absolutely amazing, and the location is simply perfect. From the moment you walk in to check in, you’re impressed by the wonderful scent throughout the hotel. All the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, they make you want to come back just because of them. You always feel well taken care of and like everything you could possibly need is already there. The hotel spa is perfect! the food is absolutely incredible. Forget about dieting here, the portions are generous, filling, and delicious :) The bartenders make absolutely delicious cocktails, and I especially recommend trying the sangria cocktail.
